Mothers and Fathers- English

Since we celebrate Mothers' Day in May and Fathers' Day in June, I've been thinking about parents, their responsibilities, and how all of us have the responsibility to help God's children. I was reading an article from my church about mothers. It may be about mothers, but many of the principles can apply to each of us, no matter where we are in life: young or old, male or female, single or married, with or without children.
Sometimes, if we are unmarried for don't hace children, we may be confused, sad, or we may even feel ok and confident that God loves us. That right there is the key to happiness: knowing that God loves you and is mindful of you. He gives us experiences to help us learn and grow. In the article, I was reading about the opportunities God has given us to serve others. Each one of us has special gifts, talents , and abilities that can be used for good. We this privilege and responsibility to serve, to lift others up, and to become more like the Savior, Jesus Christ. And as we serve, we can obtain new skills that will help us in the future. We should always serve, help, grow, and most importantly, love as Jesus loves. Charity is the pure love of Christ.

I'm still working on this, on serving, on being patient with the Lord's timetable, but I learn and grow with everyday. I try to align my will with that of the Lord. Only then am I able to find true happiness.

Madres y Padres- Español

Ya que Mayo es el mes de celebrar a las Madres y Junio para celebrar a los Padres, he estado pensando mucho en las madres y los padres y como nosotros tenemos la responsabilidad de ayudar a los hijos de Dios. Yo estaba leyendo un artículo de mi iglesia acerca de las madres y se puede aplicar a todas las personas, jóvenes o más avanzadas de edad, hombres y mujeres, casados/as o solteros/as, que tienen hijos o no tienen hijos. Aveces, si no estamos casados O si no tenemos hijos sentimos como fracasos o nos preguntamos que el propósito de nuestra condición. Y otras personas se sienten bien en todo. A mi a veces me siento un poquito triste o confundida por qué no He encontrado mi media naranja, mi príncipe azúl, tampoco tengo hijos. Pero yo sé es porque Dios tiene un propósito en todas las cosas. Todo lo que Él hace es porque me ama. Él me da experiencias para que yo crezca y progrese. En este artículo estaba leyendo como todos nosotros tenemos la oportunidad servir a los demás. Tenemos con calidades dones y talentos que podemos usar para ayudar a nuestros hermanos y nuestras hermanas. Tenemos el privilegio y la responsabilidad de servir, de ayudar, de llegar a ser más como Cristo. Y podremos aplicar lo que hemos aprendido y las calidades y aptitudes que hemos cultivado, cuando empezamos nuestras familias. Siempre podemos servir, aprender y lo más importante, amar a los demás. La caridad, el amor puro de Cristo, es lo más importante.

Tengo mucho más que aprender y experimentar antes que casarme y empezar mi propia familia, pero yo sé que Dios siempre me dará oportunidades de servir, crecer, y llegar a ser lo que Él ve en mí. Espero siempre confiar en Él y en Su divino plan. Así tendré felicidad en cada momento de mi vida.
