Happy Ice Day!

Well, most people have snow days. Alaska has ice days. We've been having freezing rain for the past couple of days, so most of Fairbanks has gone into hibernation mode. This freezing rain has made travel extremely dangerous. I've been enjoying time with the family as well as time to recover from a cold that has been hanging on. I guess ice days are a blessing in disguise. Everyone please be careful wherever you are, because I've heard that bad weather is happening in many places.

In happier news, I've started working on my mission papers. I'm going to be a missionary for my church. I still have to do examinations and interviews, but in the spring, I should be leaving to go share the gospel. I'm super- excited!
