Frustration and Fascination

So on Monday my roomie got into some drama with an old roomie of hers. That day was interesting. Then Tuesday, I slipped on a patch of ice whilst going to study group. I scraped my knee up pretty good and dropped my computer. The wireless card came loose and I had to take it to the computer help desk and they dissected my computer. All this week I also had to deal with midterm tests, papers, and book reports. Oh, and I was homesick. So I felt like I was having a crummy week.

On Thursday, I go to the temple, and feel so much peace about my life. I knew that Christ would help me with my problems and that He loves me so much. I also was able to read about some of the doctrines of temple ordinances and gain a better understanding of them. I felt so much better after leaving the temple and had a better attitude. The rest of my week went really well, and I was truly thankful for the blessings of temple attendance.

V-day

Well, Singles' Awareness Day is quickly approaching and I have yet to figure out how to celebrate. I will likely just end up getting caught up on homework since a lot of people are heading out of town for the weekend. There is still the possibility of a date, but I'm not counting on it. I am comfortable in knowing that I am cool enough without a guy and I don't need a date of Valentines' Day to make the day perfect. Sure, I wouldn't mind having a date, but it wouldn't hurt me if I didn't.
